Ancient Egypt Decor started after a trip through Luxor and Aswan, where we saw the gap between real Egyptian craftsmanship and the plastic souvenirs sold everywhere else. We wanted to offer decor that actually reflects the motifs, materials and symbolism it borrows from. Every reference in our catalogue is chosen with that standard in mind.
We work with workshops and suppliers who understand the iconography — the proportions of a scarab, the layering of a hieroglyphic frieze, the right ochres and lapis blues. The result is a collection that holds up in a living room, an office or a reading corner, without turning into a theme park.
What guides our selection
Faithful motifs
